To buy a bread distributorship there are three steps that must be taken in the following sequence:
Processing time: 1-2 weeks
Cost: $50.00 non-refundable application fee. You supply 5-year MVD record. (how to get this)
In order to represent Holsum on the route you purchase from a Seller (the current I/D), you first need to be qualified by Holsum before you would enter into a Distributor Agreement together. Related experience is preferred but not necessary if you understand and are committed to do what is required to be successful in this business because your customers, the Distributor network, and Holsum are relying on that commitment.
The qualification process consists of completing several steps, as outlined in the self-explanatory Application for Distributorship, available upon request.
Page 1 (Tan) - Applicant's personal information, legal name, address, character references, and work history. Sign & date.
Page 2 (Blue) - Holsum Application for Credit (to purchase bakery products from Holsum, NOT for financing on the route) to be completed and signed by you and your spouse.
Page 3 (Yellow) - Consent to a drug screen (scheduled and paid for by Holsum). Also a 50-question True/False survey.
Page 4 (Green) - This sheet is completed at get-acquainted interview by Sales Manager and/or District Sales Coordinator.
