Holsum Bakery participates in Jim Click's Run 'n Roll Race
Holsum Bakery sampled their new Aunt Hattie's All Natural breads on Sunday October 5 at the Annual Jim Click Run 'n Roll 8K Run/Walk & 8K Elite Wheelchair Race. Events began with participant registration from 6:15 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. in front of the Ina Gittings Building on the UA Mall and concluded with an awards ceremony at University and Campbell Avenue. Prizes and T-shirts were made available to race participants in addition to a sample of Aunt Hattie's new All Natural bread.
Each variety of Aunt Hattie's new All Natural breads are named after a southwest location such as "Sedona 9-grain" and "Grand Canyon 100% Whole Wheat". Each one is made with natural ingredients such as whole grains, unbleached flours, and non-hydrogenated oils. These low fat breads are available in area grocery stores starting Monday, October 6. Throughout the Southwest, AUNT HATTIE'S is the consumers' brand of choice for fresh baked home-style variety breads and rolls, as well as for All Natural grain breads.
Proceeds collected from race entry fees will go to support the University of Arizona Adaptive Athletics Program, which gives disabled athletes the opportunity to compete in a variety of sports.
