Bright Morning Breakfast Casserole

slices Holsum Thin White Bread |
| 1 |
pound sausage, browned and drained |
| 8 |
eggs |
| 2 |
cups milk |
| 1 |
teaspoon salt |
| 1 |
teaspoon dry mustard |
| 1 |
cup grated cheddar cheese, divided |

Trim crusts off bread slices and tear into small pieces.

Line the bottom of a 9" x 13" baking dish with bread pieces.

Top with browned and drained sausage.

In a bowl, mix together eggs, milk, salt, dry mustard and ¾ cheese; pour evenly over sausage.

Sprinkly remaining cheese on top.

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat oven to 350°.

Bake casserole for 30 minutes or until heated through.

This recipe must be prepared the night before. To add a Mexican flair, use 1 cup sour cream instead of milk and add one 4-ounce can of chopped green chilies.
