Ham & Swiss Sandwiches
 

Servings: Makes 8 sandwiches

8 Aunt Hattie's  Hamburger Buns
2 sticks butter, softened
3 tablespoons mustard
1 1/2 teaspoons poppy seeds
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 medium onion, finely chopped
16 slices ham luncheon meat
8 slices Swiss cheese

 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix butter, mustard, poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce and onion.

  3. Spread mixture on one side of each bun.

  4. Top with a slice of ham, a slice of cheese, and the top of the bun.

  5. Wrap sandwiches in foil and bake for 15 minutes or until heated through. Serve immediately.
